This moment [Jul. 19th, 2007|11:49 pm]
internal cultivation through motion and presence

"Where are you?"

"What time is it?"

"Who are you?"

"I am this moment."

The above is from the movie The Peaceful Warrior, but I found it to be wonderfully full of meaning.

I went out for a walk tonight, just enjoying the string of now's from when I left my front door until I returned. Sometimes, a walk with peaceful awareness can be as profound as some of the deepest practices.

Though today was...bumpy, I feel back to where I should be.

And where is that, you ask?

Here, and Now.

(revised version from my personal journal)

i'll watch it!

enough already!!!

seriously, though. i looking forward to seeing it. not sure how today will end up working out (i have some interesting things to share with you), but it would be nice to catch a movie.

it's been a long time since i've watched something that wasn't an instructional video. this ought to be fun.

...and we should *totally* eat popcorn with chopsticks!

thanks for sharing this.

Thank you in return. The experience of watching the movie with you ended up being better by far than what I'd hoped. For that, I'm deeply thankful.

An old roommate of mine highly recommended the book--I'll have to get around reading and watching it.

I've actually never read the book - please make a post with your thoughts when you do.
